PRE-BOOKING
The salon has an appointment only policy. To avoid disappointment treatments should be pre-booked, the best way to do this is by our online booking system. All treatment time lengths are approximate and will depend on each individual client, times include consultations and after care this is essential to ensure a personalised treatment. Some medical conditions may need advice from a GP/doctor, if unsure please do not hesitate to contact us before making a booking request. Before your appointment we will send an electronic consultation form and any relevant pre/post care by email, if these can be completed before your appointment this would be ideal. If you have any problems in doing this let us know and we can help you at your appointment.
PRICES
Prices, treatments and products are subject to revision without prior notice! Prices can always be found on our website. Please note that we do not give refunds on any products or purchases.
AGE
Clients need to be age 16 or over to have treatments performed at the salon. For some treatments you will need to be 18 or over, ID can be required. Please avoid bringing children to the salon. This is due to insurance purposes.
DATA PROTECTION POLICY
Any personal information you provide to us will not be released, sold, or rented to any entities or individuals outside of The Beauty Lounge Tettenhall. The Beauty Lounge Tettenhall will collect, handle and store personal data for treatment and appointment purposes in accordance with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). From time to time we send promotional emails and we also send appointment confirmations and reminders via e-mail and text. For more information please see our Privacy Policy.
BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICY
Your appointment has been reserved especially for you therefore we ask you to notify us at least 48 hours in advance if you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment as a courtesy to both The Beauty Lounge Tettenhall and our other clients. Appointments cannot be cancelled online. If you wish to cancel this must be done direct as soon as possible by leaving a voicemail on 01902 276777 or email info@thebeautyloungetettenhall.co.uk to ensure that we are aware immediately. You will have an email confirmation to confirm this has been done for you, if you do not get an email please try letting us know again as we will always confirm this by email. You are able to move your appointment up to 48hrs before, this is not ideal of course, if you need to move your appointment please do this as soon as possible. Appointments can be rescheduled online. You are only able to re-schedule the same appointment once after the booking is made. If you try to re-schedule a second time your appointment will automatically be cancelled and you will lose your booking fee. If you wish to change your appointment between 12-48hrs before then your deposit will be lost. If we receive less than 12 hours notice of cancellation 100% of the treatment/s cost will be charged. ‘No Shows’ will be charged the full cost of the treatment/s and £5.00 for skin test appointments. Appointment reminders will be sent 48hrs before your appointment so please contact us as early as possible to avoid your being charged. No further bookings will be made until this is paid. Clients who have previously missed appointments will be asked to pay in full when booking future treatments. Please note we take no-shows very seriously and you will be blocked from using the online booking system if this happens more than once. Thank you for your understanding that our time is valuable!
ONLINE BOOKING & CARD CAPTURE POLICY
To secure your appointment, a 50% booking fee is required at the time of booking. This payment will be deducted from your final balance on the day of your appointment. Booking fees are non-refundable and non-transferable if you cancel or reschedule your appointment with less than 48 hours’ notice.
Cancellation charges are as follows:
- More than 48 hours’ notice – booking can be rescheduled
- Less than 48 hours’ notice – 50% charge retained
- Less than 12 hours’ notice – 100% of appointment cost charged
- No-show appointments – 100% of appointment cost charged
Where a 100% cancellation fee applies, the remaining appointment balance will be charged to the card held securely on file.
We kindly ask for as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment.
Appointments may be rescheduled online up to 48 hours before your appointment time. Each appointment may only be rescheduled once.
For all bookings, card details are securely stored through our booking system (Ovatu) and payment provider (Stripe). Your card may be charged in line with the cancellation policy outlined above.
Cancellation appointments and last-minute bookings are also subject to the same cancellation policy
Please note we may need to move your appointment by 15mins when we confirm your request so please try not to leave small gaps throughout the appointment system. In some circumstances your therapist may need to be changed.
COURSE APPOINTMENTS (LASER HAIR REMOVAL & PACKAGES) CANCELLATION POLICY
Course appointments require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Appointments changed with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in that session being deducted from your course/package.
SEMI-PERMANENT MAKEUP BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICY
The cost of a new micropigmentation procedure includes the initial session and top up 6-10 weeks later. The top up service is included in the original price only when performed within 12 weeks after the initial session. Outside 12 weeks, or if appointments are missed, an additional charge will be incurred for an additional top up to be booked in. A 50% booking fee is required to schedule your micropigmentation, which is taken off your final total when you attend your initial appointment. This is non-refundable as a time slot is being set aside especially for you. Due to the length and preparation required for new SPMU appointments, we require a minimum of 14 days’ notice to reschedule your appointment. Reschedule requests made within 14 days may result in the booking fee being retained.
GIFT CARD PURCHASE POLICY
Pre-payment is required for gift cards. This will not be refunded and is not transferable under any circumstances should to cancel your appointments at any time. Treatments are subject to availability and must be pre-booked. As the salon gets very busy we recommend appointments are booked as soon as possible after purchase/receiving. At least 48hrs notice must be given to reschedule a gift card appointment otherwise the use will be lost. Gift cards are valid for bookings made within 6 months of purchase only and the expiry date will not be extended under any circumstances. Gift cards can not be exchanged for cash but may be exchanged for services of a higher value, on payment of the difference. If a client is late for their appointment and it is not possible for the treatment/s to be carried out use of the gift card will be lost. On the third attempt to reschedule an appointment use of the gift card will be lost. If a micropigmentation top-up appointment is missed or outside 8 weeks after the initial session this will become chargeable even if a gift card was used. If a client needs to reschedule their micropigmentation, they may transfer their gift card value onto the new appointment if 48hrs notice is given. If 48hrs notice is not given, unfortunately the gift card use will be lost and a new appointment charged normally will need to be made to reschedule.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS
Please inform us at the time of booking of any health issues or medical conditions we may need to be aware of, including pregnancy. We can then advise you accordingly of suitable treatments although we will also do a thorough consultation with you before your treatment.
CONSULTATION POLICY
A consultation and skin test fee is required when booking laser hair removal and SPMU consultations.
This fee covers your consultation time, patch testing, medical screening and treatment planning with your therapist.
Consultation fees are redeemable against your treatment or course if booked.
Please note consultation fees are non-refundable and standard cancellation policies apply.
TREATMENTS
Please arrive just 5 minutes before your appointment. If for any reason you think you may arrive late for your treatment please call to let us know and leave a voicemail or send an email. If you are late for your appointment please be aware that the full appointment time may not be attained or it may not be possible for your treatments to be carried out at all (e.g more than 10mins late) and your treatment will still need to be charged.
SKIN TESTING
Skin tests for treatments involving Brow/Lash Tinting, LVL Lash Lift, Brow Lamination, Pro Power Peel, Microblading/Combination/Ombre Brows, Lip Blush and Lash Line Enhancement are required 24 hours minimum before your first treatment including if you have had a patch test elsewhere. If you haven’t been to the salon for over 6-12 months since your skin test/treatment or anything has changed with your medical history we will need you to have another skin test. Please note this is a legal requirement.
LVL & BROW LAMINATION PATCH TESTING: We are advised by LVL & HD brows for best practise you will be offered a skin test before each LVL/brow lamination treatment this is optional but if you leave it longer than 6 months since your LVL/brow lamination skin test/treatment or anything has changed with your medical history we will need you to have a skin test legally.
REMOVALS
We do not offer removals on any artificial nails or hard gel polish applied elsewhere. Please remove any existing polish before arrival to allow full treatment time. Always book in removals for gel polish previously applied at The Beauty Lounge Tettenhall otherwise there may not be time for reapplication.
PAYMENT
Payment can be made by cash or card. Unfortunately we are unable to accept cheques.
VALUABLES
Please ensure that you retrieve all your valuables before leaving the premises as we cannot be held responsible for lost items. We recommend wearing as little jewellery as possible to the salon when having facials or massages. Please also remove rings and watches for nail appointments.
WHEELCHAIR ACCESS
There is wheelchair access to Limes Court but unfortunately The Beauty Lounge Tettenhall has limited wheelchair access including no access to the W/C and treatment rooms. If you have any other medical conditions please inform us prior to booking treatments so that we are able to discuss and make any arrangements required.
CHILDREN
Please don’t bring children to The Beauty Lounge Tettenhall due to health & safety reasons.
PETS
No pets are allowed in the salon due to health, safety and hygiene reasons.
FRIENDS/RELATIVES
Please note that due to health and safety reasons no additional persons other than clients are to be in for their appointment due to the appointment only policy as we like the salon to feel private (if you have any special requirements please let us know of course).
