MICROBLADING (HAIR STROKE BROWS)
Microblading is a semi-permanent make-up technique where a small handheld tool made up of several tiny needles is used to add pigment to the upper dermal layer of the skin. We create a totally bespoke look for each client creating individual hyperrealism hair-stokes into the skin to imitate real eyebrow hair, its all in the detail. Care is taken to match the pigment to your natural hair colour to blend the fine strokes with your brow hair to create a beautiful finish! The most natural SPMU brow treatment perfect for clients who wear minimal or no make-up daily. (Please note this technique is not recommended if you have excessively oily skin and machine method will be advised for thinner skin).
NANO (MACHINE HAIR STROKE BROWS)
Nano brows create hair strokes using a machine rather than a microblade. Think of the needle implanting the pigment into the skin just like a sewing machine, in between is each dot is untouched skin. We are creating small dots that line up in a row creating a hair stroke on the skin. Nano Brows has taken the industry by storm because it is a hair stroke technique that is suited for all skin types and lasts up to two years. Nano brows can be done alone or also with some added shading between the hair strokes! Great for clients with natural sparse/fine or even no brow hairs. Very Natural looking results!
OMBRÉ (POWDER/SHADING BROWS)
Ombré brows are created using machine work only we don’t use the microblade or add any hair strokes for this technique. The term ‘Ombré’ is from the French word meaning shaded or shading, this layered pixelated effect creates the classic powder layered coloured effect! Ombré brows give the illusion of a filled in bold brow without looking harsh. It can look as natural or as compact as you would like, the machine creates little pixels that we then build up into layers in the skin so if you want a more bold brow we can really build up the pigment, if you don’t we can make it look natural too!
COMBINATION (HAIRSTROKES & POWDER/SHADING BROWS)
Combination brows is microblading mixed with machine shading, it’s a more fuller brow than microblading alone. If you draw your eyebrows nodally but still want them to look natural this is the technique for you. Hair like strokes at the front of the brow creating a more fluffy front and then machine shading throughout the rest of the brow. You really get the best of both with combination brows as you can really build up the pigment density with the shading/powder affect throughout the brow as much or as little as you like totally personalised to you.

What happens to my natural eyebrows?
I always try and work with your natural eyebrow shape and hair as much as possible which means a more natural result and less maintenance for you to keep on top of. You will have to occasionally pluck/wax around the brow shape (after the healing period) but this is very easy to do now you have your new defined brow shape to follow.
Can I choose my own pigment colour?
We have a wide range of different pigments, for brows from light blonde tones, to very deep dark tones. We will go through the pre-draw process to figure out your desired look and make the colour match perfect for you and I will always give you my professional opinion.
Do I need to shape my brows before my brow appointment?
It’s best if you leave your natural brows to grow as much as possible before your treatment so I can follow your natural hair-growth pattern and I will remove any unwanted hairs out of the shape that we don’t need on the day.
What happens after?
Brows will initially look very bold at the start of the healing process and can fade up to 30% once healed in the skin. Full aftercare advice will be given.

Stable colour performance for years to come. Your results will not fade to different colours, only lighter versions of the original colour. All colours are pre-modified to avoid an ashy or grey heal. Ultra-concentrated, enabling artists to place the target colour over old, faded PMU permanently. The ingredients are a combination of pigments, glycerin, witch hazel, aqua, rosin, benzyl alcohol, and isopropyl alcohol. Pigments are gamma ray sterilised, vegan and also cruelty-free. There is a sunset collection with light copper to deep red colours especially for clients who have Strawberry Blonde, Ginger, Red & Auburn hair to suit fair to medium skin tones.

All needles are made in only surgical grade 316 stainless steel. This is the highest quality stainless steel. Our needles are sharp and consistently of high quality. Each microblade comes in its own sterilized blister pack complete with lot number, manufacture date and expiration date. We have different types of microblades for Thinner brows, Thicker brows or perfectly curved hair strokes!

ANNUAL COLOUR BOOSTS
(Existing Clients Only)
Keep your brows fresh, retain your colour and shape. Depending on your skin, lifestyle and aftercare you can have your brows colour boosted regularly however don’t leave it longer than 3 years as you may need a new set. Colour boosts are for clients who have had microblading/combination/ombré at The Beauty Lounge Tettenhall only.
Existing Beauty Lounge Tettenhall clients are able to book their colour boosts via the online booking system, please check when you had your last appointment to choose the suitable colour boost (30% non-refundable booking fee will be taken to secure your appointment and this will then be deducted at your appointment). We recommend you pre-book this procedure at least 3 months ahead as Emma gets booked up in advance!
